Online Meditation Classes
- Instructor: Colin Jarrett
- Day and Time: Saturdays @ 11am ET/8am PT
- Class Description: We begin with an explanation of meditation and description of the technique we will use if we are exploring a new type of meditation to add to your toolkit. Sometimes there will be a longer description and training about meditation and different types so we can all learn more about the many benefits of a daily practice. We will meditate sitting up and usually in silence together. Some people feel comfortable sitting cross legged for meditation and some people are much more comfortable in a chair with feet planted on the ground. It is beneficial to choose a position that is not going to be so uncomfortable to distract you from your focus, so feel free to explore sitting positions. Remember, you can meditate anywhere and in any position!
- What to Have on Hand: You may want to have a notebook or journal nearby in case you receive insight or inspiration during your meditation.
- Equipment: Water to stay hydrated, a mat, a pillow, and a towel.
